HP 8592A Portable Spectrum Analyzer
The total frequency range is advertised as 50 kHz to 22 GHz. Band 0 is from 50 kHz to 2.9 GHz. Band 1 is from 2.75 GHz to 6.2 GHz. Band 2 from 6 GHz to 12.8 GHz. Band 3 is from 12.4 GHz to 19.4 GHz. Band 4 is from 19.1 GHz to 22 GHz. This analyzer is in working condition. It passes the frequency calibration and amplitude test from the front panel CAL OUTPUT. The calibration is within ½ dB for the band 0 at the calibration frequency. That level has been checked using an HP8690A. I have tested it at Band 1 using a 0 dBm input at 4 GHz using an HP 616B and the measured signal is at-23 dBm. Indicating the first mixer is low in sensitivity, typical for this device that is old. IFR FM/AM 1200S Service Monitor w/spectrum analyzer and tracking generator
This is my IFR 1200S service monitor with spectrum analyzer. It has the internal battery. And tracking generator options(options 4 and 12) though only option 12 is shown on the label. The battery pack may have been added later. The software version is 7.0. s/n is 11xxx. It has been on my service bench since I acquired it in 1998. I have never taken it out of the shop. It doesn't look like it has ever spent any time in the field. The physical condition is excellent. I had no problems with this monitor up until a short time ago when it developed an intermittent output problem with the signal generator. The unit was sent to KG Electronics for repair and calibration, and the problem was resolved. It is now fully operational as before, and will provide years of service. Calibration is good until August 2015. The only reason I am selling this ... moreunit is that I have a second service monitor that will fit my needs at this point, as well as a stand-alone spectrum analyzer, so am downsizing. In the photos, I could not capture the scope with the waveform of the received signal, despite numerous attempts. Included with this service monitor is a copy of the operations manual, the IFR soft case, new internal batteries, and power cord. The repair invoice for the recent service is also included.
