I have 2 of these with tracking generators. the following is their opt configurations unit 1. 10.41,53( Improved amplitude accuracy for cdmaOne) 119(noise figure measurement, hardware card installed but loaded is cdma personality, and Im not sure if thats part of it or what or if opt 119 needs a measurement personality or not But no personality card is included)130(narrow res bw) 004(this is the model shown in the pics) also the tracking generator says tg unleveled but its just a quirk/glitch because the tracking generator is perfectly level within spec and is working perfectly overall, fully tested as you can see in pics.I tested the lo out and in of the tg and its all perfect, then I looked at the tg assembly at it says 300 khz to 2.9 ghz, but the front panel says 9khz, so I checked the zoomed in small span at 150khz and it looks like theres a blip at freq below 150 khz which is causing the unlevel notice, but the front panel should be saying 300 khz to 2.9 ghz like lots of the other 8595e units do because thats what the tg assembly is rated at(maybe someone replaced the tg assembly from another 9 series with 300 khz to 2.9 ghz range? This is an 8591E 75 ohm version with optional cable tv measurement personality installeable upon request at no extra fee!this is basically an 8591e converted to an 8591c as it is identical(if I install the cable tv personality which I can) this has the coveted tracking generator built in which is a 1000$ value upgrade. I fed my signal generator thru this at 50 ohm with the 50 ohm setting and my amplitude readings were perfect just as if it was a standard 50 ohm only analyzer. and with 1.8 ghz you really dont need to have an N connector. bnc works just fine up to 1.8 ghz without any loss. also has the highest demand option next to tracking generator which is the narrow bandwidth option which the E series really needs to make it perform more like a higher end 6 series. it also has the much needed option high frequency stable standard 10 mhz. the ones that they usually come with are junk so the precision option is a must. and opt 41 is

I have used this service monitor to repair my HAM rigs. It has a little scratches here and there. And marks on screen when power-off. However. When lights up, it is good to read without problem. Cosmetically I give a 7.5 out 10. It works fine as it should. And I have loved its functions. Therefore. I recently bought a newer one with 0.4~1000Mhz option. It would be a good unit for starters who want to have"the service monitor" expiriences. As you could find all details of this unit in internet. It is a very heavy one, 69 lbs. HP 5086-7799 Tracking Generator Module HP 8560A This a Tracking generator Module out of a HP 8560A Spectrum Analyzer. I believe this Module is in working Condition because it was not what was wrong with the unit. But after I took the module out I notice the SMB connector was damaged. Looks Like ite outer shell of the SMB connector is broken off Center pin is still there. I took some pictures of it. Probably still usable but would have to be careful. I also left the cables on it. I did take the cover off and it looks like the connector can be replaced easily I actually already took it off but my replacment was not quite the right one. In addition to the aforementioned, an HP 8552A IF plug-in and an HP 8656A RF plug-in with a range of 0 to 300KHz(two bands as well) are included in this auction. Lastly the authentic HP manuals for the 8443A, 8552B and the HP 141T(similar in operation and service to the 141S which is the item in this listing and not the 141T) Two US Army issue manuals for the 8553B and 8552B plug-ins are included as well.
