Here is a rare Systron Donner 8150 Time Code Reader fro m the early'70s that uses nixie tubes for its display. The s ticker in pic#3 shows a servicing in 1974 and the da te codes on the chips are mainly 1972. It's a former Navy laboratory surplus piece. Three digit serial number so there weren't ever many of these around. I would guess. I bought it years ago to use as a clock because I like interesting timepieces. Worked fine back then but now it doesn't set right. The far right digit can only be set to 0. 4, or 8. A lso. When you set the knob to GEN, the time advances but the seconds count off fro m the tens of seconds digit. The minutes and hours change but the days do not advance.
