this is an sr785. opened up and made sure it was complete. it powers up but no display because the crt is cracked and broken. Last calibration: 2006 I have 2 of these. and another sr780 so if you need parts to try to fix this one. I have them for sale. I also have another unit sr780 that many of you know is the same as the sr785 with only a few differences and most of the parts are interchangeable. I can sell that one for only 2500$. that ones crt works. It can connected directly to ICP sensors(like Bruel Kjaer 2695 preamp or ICP accelerometers) I have connected it to a B&K 2695 preamp with one Ono Sokki prepolarized microrphone. The sound is 94 dB at 1000 Hz generated by B&K 4231 sound calibrator) you can see from the photos, the 1/3-octave analysis results(the value is about-26 dBV) Note the 1/3-octave analysis can cover frequencies from 0.63 Hz to 40 kHz. But it can show only 15 or 16 bands at a time. So, if you set the upper frequency to be 20 kHz, the lowest band shown will be 630 Hz. Press the List key, all voltages for the frequency bands on the screen will be shown. I have also tested it with pink noise. I also have 4 sr760 units as well and am working on having a second functional sr770 soon. passes all startup tests every time. and tested perfect when I ran my srs function generator into it which is also for sale(ds340) the generator in pics was fed into it at exactly 1 volt pp and it reads dead on for amplitude and frequency. the other test pics show the source out fed into the input and set to 500 mv at various frequencies and waveform options that the source out has. the source out is completely programmable. its basically a complex waveform function generator built inside!The internal source out is also reading dead on from 30 hz to 99 khz, there is no amplitude fluctuation or frequency ... moredeviation from the source or the spec analyzer it self! flatness is dead on. its already in perfect precise calibration and guaranteed to pass it if your company demanded a recal after purchasing like some companies do. TM5006 and SG 5010. Cabling other equipment in the background are for demonstration purposes only and are not part of the auction. The unit is functional but the calibration state is unknown.
