This Unit was purchased new. By my wife, somewhere around 1990. It was a Christmas Present, so it was extra special, and has had very good care. I am in the Two Way Radio business, and I wanted something that could look at the bare spectrum and also tune cavities and duplexers. This was perfect for me. I used it for a few years and then bought some other more elaborate equipment, at which time this unit went on the shelf. I can tell you that it probably does not have more than 10 hours of service on it in the past 20 years. It is in excellent cosmetic condition, with the original user manual. The screen is bright, all the controls work, and it seems to be in excellent conditon, overall(look at the pictures) As with any piece of electronic equipment that is old. Tektronix 1l5 audio spectrum analyzer plugin and its companion 015-0107-00 swept frequency generator. both are in good working order. I no longer have a scope that fits this. the 1l5 is a 50hz to 990 kHz spectrum analyzer plug in. It does work down to 20hz. the swept frequency generator allows you to test crossovers filters and do bandwith tests. both of these are hard to find units, the set is even more rare. comes with the 1l5 manual, the swept freq converter manual can be downloaded online. ships worldwide!

Nice Tektronix 2710 Spectrum Analyzer 10KHz to 1.8Ghz With Options 1,2,9,10 !!!!
Serial#B033407 One Tektronix 2710 Spectrum Analyzer 10KHz to 1.8Ghz With Options 1.2,9,10 The analyzer passes all self tests and has a bright crisp display. The 10 MHz reference signal was set with a Trak Systems 8821 GPS Clock. Frequency and level calibration was checked against a calibrated R&S SMT-02 and found to be well within specification. There is no formal calibration sticker This analyzer was intermittently used in the field rather than left"cooking" on a test bench. It is therefore clean inside and has low hours but has some external nicks and dings. Not bad though. See the pictures This analyzer has very deep menu levels. I've been pretty far into it and everything I have tried to use works as intended but I don't know for sure that every little function is perfect as I am used to regularly using another make ... moreand model. Serial#B021716 One Tektronix 2710 Spectrum Analyzer 10KHz to 1.8Ghz The analyzer passes all self tests and has bright crisp display. The last calibration sticker was July 1995 so that might be due! It is not grossly out of calibration and could be used as is. At 900MHz at 0.0dBm on a calibrated R&S SMT-02 the analyzer marker reads about 2 KHz low and 1.2 dB lower than expected. This analyzer was carried by a radio technician and has more dings and bumps than average. Note the ding in the plastic below the knob area. The unit is clean inside and appears to have moderate hours. See the pictures This analyzer has very deep menu levels. The combination of the YC350 touch screen control unit. YBT250 RF analyzer, and YBA250 antenna analyzer allows a wide range of capabilities. The YBT250 has a spectrum analyzer covering the band from 25 to 2500 Mhz with a span width of 10KHz to full band. There is also a spectrogram that shows signal concentration over time to help in locating intermittent signals. The YBT250 also has a peaking feature that allows you to peak a signal with a visual signal level bar. Spectrum display and audio signal beep. The YB250 also has measurement capability for a signal carrier and for cellular phone systems. The YBA250 module allows antenna measurement capability. There is a VSWR mode. It is in decent condition for being roughly 25-30 years old. It seems to NOT want to play well in one of my mainframes and I cannot diagnose the problem. Everything looks to be in good condition. Tektronix RARE TM 504 Opt 7 for TR 502, 7L12 7L13 and 7L14 Spectrum Analyzer
RARE Tektronix TM 504 Opt 7 for Tracking Generator in not the best shape. I bought this unit a few years ago from an estate along with some other nice Tek gear and it sustained some shipping damage in transit compliments of UPS. Fortunately the damage appears to be cosmetic in nature. I tested it with a Tek DC 502 Opt 7 Counter and the counter worked fine in it. I wasn't able to test the compartments dedicated for use to a TR502 or TR503 because the TR502 that came in the same shipment was damaged beyond functionality. Opt 7 allows a DC 508A or DC 502 also with option 7 to talk to and work with the Tracking Generator through the TM504. There are 3 dedicated slots. The middle 2 are for the tracking generator. Also the high power compartment tang at the top of the slot was broken off. See in the pic. But this looks like it could be replaced ... morepretty easy by removing the top skin from the TM504. I did not check the high power slot. Note the damage to the Rear. Also looks pretty easy to fix or just leave it. There is a ding in the top. Sold as described. Your purchase is insured with Paypal. Both items demonstrate nice functionality. Have good display intensity, no phosphor burn-in and are housed in a very clean rack mount, Pic#10. Both units have various capabilities and we have not verified all of the combinations in which they may be used. We have however verified functionality based on the following specific comments: REGARDING THE 1740A: a) Composite or component NTSC signals can be connected to any or all of eight input channels. I replaced all the high voltage caps in the power supplies. I check the operational parameters of all the circuit modules and replace any defective components. I disassemble the front panel and replace any defective push button switches and parts on the circuit board. I calibrated the instrument. This S A cover 21GHz in 5 overlapping bands. I can only test to 3GHz but the other bands don't seem to exhibit anything unusual. The frequency measurement seems accurate but the power level is about 4.4db to high. I am not very familiar with operating this unit so I may have incorrect settings.
