Antique Civil War Period Ox Blood Red Brass Signal Cannon Model 91/2 inch Barrel
This is a great mid 19th century signal cannon with original ox blood red paint. The 9 1/2 inch barrel is made of brass and the mount is wood. The brass barrel looks to have been fired and not cleaned before put away. The tip of the barrel and the fuze hole have gone a green color. There is a set of instruction for firing. A wooden dowel, and a Gorham silver plated spoon for loading. Spoon dated 1880.

Miniature Civil War 1800's signal cannon hand made screws
This has been a very interesting find. I have showed many people and they all believe that this is an actual signal cannon built in the 1800s. The screws look to be hand made because the of lines in the heads of the screws are not centered. I am not exactly sure how this fires. But it looks like it will fire. It has a live firing pin that is spring loaded and it seems to work great. You screw the firing pin into the back of the Cannon, you can then pull the firing pin, turn it a little to the right and it is then in the cocked position. There is a small hole in the firing pin handle that you put a string in, back up, give the string a little pull and bang. This weighs a little over 20 pounds, the barrel is 13 inches long, the wheels are 9 inches tall. I believe this has been done by a blacksmith the wheels are all one piece, there is no welding ... moreon this piece. There is one crack in one of the wheels. I have not cleaned this cannon at all. I will leave that up to the buyer if they decide they want to clean it or not. It has a smooth bore barrel but needs to be cleaned badly before firing if you decide to fire. It has brass hub caps and there are other brass pieces as well. This piece is built identical to a Civil War cannon down to making sure that the barrel is a little crooked so it don't roll back. There is no wood on this piece is all cast iron. Please ask questions if you have any. I will ship in the USA only.

Up for Grabs Mint Vietnam Era United States Army Signal Corps Tie Tac Gold- plated and Enamel Identified to recently deceased Brigadier General Arthur Vande Poele. A member of the Fighting Blue Hens Battalion Hall of Fame. He Retired in Fenwick Island. Delaware. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 1954, and was commissioned a second lieutenant. He then served with the First Cavalry Division in Japan. Joining the Delaware Army National Guard in 1956, he served in various positions, rising to command the 198th Signal Battalion until 1975. At that time, he was promoted to colonel and held various training positions with the 261st Signal Command in Dover, Del. becoming chief of staff in 1980. Hello. A couple years ago I retired from my local volunteer fire department. I had put in almost 30 years. But found that be being a Paramedic and a Deputy Chief, in addition to being the District Safety Officer was just too much of a burden on my family. In addition, my Dad spent 60+ years in the Fire/ EMS/ Red Cross/ Ski Patrol. I am not only selling my stuff, but helping him sell his stuff. That is 90+ years of collecting things. This Federal Sign and Signal Q2B was new when my Dad put it on one of his parade fire trucks. Yes, he had his own fire trucks) It is mint! It spent 10+ years on the front of the pictured grass truck. SO, other than having to clean off some bugs, it I just had to remove it and take some pics. Seriously, it is nearly mint. EXTREMELY RARE Federal Signal Model 044 Flashing Beacon Light
Here is an extremely rare Federal 4 way flashing light. The 4 bulbs flash on and off. The are not meant to rotate. This is a very sought after light by collectors. Unknown working condition. As I did not try it. There's not much to go wrong except bulbs and a flasher. Very nice condition except for a star crack in the side of the dome. See pictures. Some rust on upper plate. Vintage BEACON RAY 27-S Red Rotating Signal Light - Federal Sign & Signal Corp.
This Vintage BEACON RAY Red Rotating Signal Light is in good condition. With scuffs and wear from age and use. It is from Federal Sign& Signal Corp. Model 27-S. It has a threaded base. This has been tested and lights and spins perfectly. This has been converted to a hanging lamp and is roughly wired to a power cord with wire nuts. This will need to be reattached properly. Federal air raid siren unknown if it still works I got this 10 yrs ago and worked then spins freely and currently not fully together to make it easier to move but have all parts and bolts and pole mount it weighs about 750 lbs together I cannot ship and have no way of loading it must pick up and have a trailer or someway to load it local pick up only there is some rust on horns not rusted bad though and some horns were dented bad when I got it but I tried to fix them the best I could
