GI Radio Signal Direction Detection Equipment, AT-1082/PRC and MLA-1/E Feed Loop
Offered for bid is an AT-1082/PRC radio signal direction finder. Complete with original pack and antenna wires, and a vehicle mount 5 lb. 13 oz. solid copper MLA-1/E Feed Loop. I don’t know this equipment well but it’s all related to finding the direction of military radio broadcasts. The AT-1082/PRC is in very good shape with absolutely no corrosion on the wiring or components. There is a 1968 date printed on the inside of the carry bag. The MLA-1/E seems designed to be mounted and rotated to home in on a radio signal. But I do not have the mount. The copper loop has some paint missing off the loop but the 2 antenna connecters and the 3 pin, female, Beldin connecter are undamaged. My opening bid price is based on identical equipment offered on Ebay. But well below those asking prices.

Up for consideration are TWO 1943 US ARMY SIGNAL CORPS PHOTOS OF ACTOR SABU DASTAGIR ON AN ELEPHANT. The 8" x 10" photos were taken as part of a recruitment campaign being held in Baltimore. Maryland. Based on the information I found stamped on to the back of a similar photo, I believe the elephant was known as, Minnie, photos were shot in Druid Hall Park, Baltimore, Maryland, on or about September 19, 1943. One of the photos. elephant has all 4 feet on stand) was removed from a photo album, as seen by the back of that photo. If you look carefully at the photo there are 2 spots on the right side where to adhesive started to bleed through( Upper right corner, just above the tree) Although it can't be seen in the picture, there's also a small crease at the lower left corner of the photo, on the white border. As for the other ... morephoto, it is without damage, showing little or no wear. With the exception of the above mentioned, I believe they are both in Good Plus to Very Good condition. Up for auction is this very rare Adlake large capacity Chicago& Northwestern Railroad amber signal lantern. This is in as found condition with the original black painted over by the railroad with silver. These large style one piece reservoir tanks were used for remote locations. This is in great shape with tank inside being perfect. And no rust. The handle has a rivet replaced, and the metal around inspection glass has some pieces missing. Also the Pyrex chimney had been broken, and is glued back together. The Adams& Westlake patent tag is on the inside as seen in the pictures, and the C&NWRR is on the outside. Overall height including the handle is 20 1/2" and the tank diameter is 10" I imagine this will hold close to a gallon of fuel. Due the size, and heavy weight of this shipping will not be cheap.
