As far as I know. This piece of history is the top of an old car battery. Made by Thomas A. Edison of Orange NJ, it's dated 1908 to possibly 1911. The company did business from 1905 to 1926 when it was dissolved. Although it's not an entire battery(which is rare to come by) it is the top portion and to me, the most interesting part of the battery. Given it's information, you can see the holes for positive and negative charges. The item was found in a river in NJ and although it's of a porcelain nature. The waters have stained the white color. I think it adds to the interest: not something you'll find easily. It has a 7" diameter and is TOTALLY fascinating.

Offering this cool 1970's vintage Crouse Hinds foot traffic light. Both the walk and don't walk messages are controlled by a single 3 way switch. Set at center for off or up for walk and down for don't walk. The unit shows wear but displays nice with the factory support arm. This currently has two 100 watt bulbs. The lenses are glass inside. The light stands about 26" tall and the support arm extends the light to about 16" from the wall. Weight is 23 pounds, packed weight will be 28 pounds. Your looking at a R&S sig-gen from 5 kHz to 1.5 GHz that has a whole boatload of digital modulations. Frequency response. Power range(attenuators) were checked, FM, AM modulation and I can confirm that something is modulating although I didn't check the constellation when I selected the digital modulation scheme on. The unit also successfully calibrates without errors. Because power accuracy and dynamic range is good. I'm going to have to call this a working unit. The only defects I have found are missing power button and rotary knob. The photographs are the actual unit. Not some stock pic that you see on some others out there. I will ship world wide as long as the export allows it. The export number is 3A992.A

Used Signal Master by Federal Signal Corp., with controller and cord
The City of Runawau Bay. Texas is selling off used equipment. This item is a Federal Signal Corp. SignalMaster light bar. It is about 31 inches long, with amber lens. This includes the controller box, about 12 feet of cable and three L shaped mounting braces. We stopped using this item some years ago on a C.O.D.E. enforcement vehicle. I did a bench test and everything appears to be in good working order. There is one lens that has a crack in it but there does not appear to have any white light coming through. The City of Runaway Bay is not aware of item(s) current mechanical condition. Do to the nature of the sale there is"NO GUARANTEE" There is nothing to be implied. WALK SIGNAL traffic pedestrian light HOUSING box
Here is housing(I’m not exactly sure if that’s what it’s called) from part of a walk signal pedestrian light that was damaged and is being parted out. There is a small crack in the top of the frame as you can see in the photo. But otherwise this housing is in very good solid condition with no other damage that I can find. The signal was included in a lot of traffic signal related items that I picked up at a local city auction many years ago. Vintage Crouse Hinds PKG 481 traffic signal light CABLE BRACKET
I’m not sure if this bracket has a specific name. But it was included in a lot of traffic signal light related items that I picked up at a local city auction many years ago. I believe it is used to hold the cables that hang down with the individual signal lights. It measures about 9” long. Is made by Crouse Hinds, and I believe the part number on it says: PKG 481. Vintage metal Traffic Signal Light MOUNTING BRACKETS, Pole Mount Pedestrian arm
Here is a really rare. Set of vintage pedestrian or vehicle traffic signal light arms that are made for mounting a traffic signal on an octagonal post. If you wanted(although they may not be made for it) they would probably hold onto a round post of the right size as well. They are made of heavy metal mounts and come come complete with both the inner and outer brackets and mounting pipes as shown. Please note that the one 4-way connection at the end of the pipe is damaged as you can see in the photos. They are commercial pieces that were used by the Department Of Transportation in a local city here in Southern Oregon. Thanks for viewing this listing!
