All normalizations were recently run and passed the crt is clear and bright(sorry if the camera doesn't do justice) these normalizations are internal tests which were recently run and is in very good shape. I apologize for some of the pics from my camera this unit took me quite an effort and parts to repair but I felt the unit was worth it. I am sure many of the buyers of units that don't show the unit passing all the normalizations tests know just how dissapointing equipment like that is when they paid over a 1000$ for the unit! Tektronix changed something with the 2710 models over previous models it now by doing such tests provides a very accurate assessment of the unit automatically by doing a minor recalibrating of itself so you don't have to trained in how to test these units to know the condition. If you ever want to see what condition your 27xx is in let it warm up properly then go to the utility menu(by pressing Util button) and select normalizations then select all normalizations if your unit passes all normalizations then it is in pretty good shape but to find any sections that fail this type of test you select the service normalization section of the menu and it will display for each section what failed or passed. This is one of a kind. Very few left. It’s all original and in very good shape. Wm Harvie& Co Ltd 24 Mc Alpine Patent 64901 Copper& Brass Solid Glass Globe which is a very thick lens. No cracks. Circa late 1800’s It stands approx 23” and with handle it stands even higher. The top opens up to reveal the fennel system for the lamp. The back has a sliding hatch that can be completely taken off. The wicks are present& are in working condition. It weighs 24lbs& 8 oz There is very few dings. All original screws. Everything is complete. Everything including the burner. The whole lamp is in need of a good cleaning& polishing. Glasco starting making these lanterns from at least 1888 and also specialized in signal lamps. 1920's Kerosene Railroad Red Signal Lantern or Lamp, Union Pacific
This is a 1920's kerosene railroad red signal lantern or lamp. It was used on the Union Pacific Railroad. I purchased this from an older gentleman who told me this was his father's who worked for the Union Pacific for over 30 years. His mother was still living at 100 years old to give you a frame of reference for age. It is stamped UP on the top of the lantern. It was made by The Adams& Westlake Co. The red glass lens is in very nice condition. This has been used for years and has a very neat look.

Signal Electric Brass spark key, early telegraph, Heavy Duty model
This is a Signal Electric Co. Of Menominee, Michigan, Heavy Duty spark key. The contacts are 0.250 diameter. It is all brass and features a"Navy Knob" The wire run in the base is insulated with Mica sheet. The lever is solid brass and is a quarter inch square. Its a safe bet to say this is over 100 years old. The base is engraved with manufacturer info but there is no part number on the key.

BUD "Codemaster" Practice Oscillator & Signal Monitor -
The Codemaster was designed as a code practice oscillator and signal monitor used a 12SN7GT rectifier/audio oscillator with a built-in speaker and AFG and audio tone controls. The tube received filament voltage thru a line-cord resistor of 180 ohms which was open therefore the unit it did not work. The line resistor has been removed from the circuit and 2 wires exit the chassis for connection to a 180 ohm(for a 6SN7GT) or 360 ohm(for a 12SN7GT) dropping resistor. One paper cap and both 20 mfd filter caps have been replaced with new. This items greatest feature is its cabinet which can be used to replace another in lesser condition. Installation of a filament dropping resistor plus a little TLC should return the unit to working condition. The power supply section of the tube is functioning correctly. Never been apart, cast aluminum parts with cast iron hanger, all original except for the visors, all original wiring intact, designed by Halverson. This light uses 5-3/8" railroad lantern lenses(of which 5 are included in this auction- 2 Corning Blue of which one has a crack w/a chip on the edge. 2 Corning Red and 1 Kopp Orange) this is from before 1920 when lenses were standardized at 8-3/8" 8 original ... moreglass reflectors intact. 4 original glass reflectors are broken. Rare Crouse Hinds Large Bead SMILEY glass traffic signal lens from the 1920's I had two of these. This is the last one! Up for auction is a yellow large bead Type T"Smiley" Crouse Hinds traffic light lens. This lens has all the markings as you can see in the picture. No chips or breaks. This is the 8" size lens(officially measures 8 3/8" Any Smiley lens is hard to come by. And this one is the rare older edition with the large beads. Crouse-Hinds later(1940's) modified the Type T to have smaller beads that produced a smoother looking light and a little less phantom effect. It is up for auction.
