But with the optional mixers, you can achieve 50ghz + testing! or even up to 110 ghz with other mixers we calibrated it all manually. the flatness is insanely accurate. within.17 db error only! spec is 2 db. you can see it in one of the pics. there should be 18 pics. if they dont load just wait. this is a NEWLY REFURBISHED 8560E model spectrum analyzer with brand new calibration and certificate/sticker traceable to nist. the pics dont look that clear because after I took all of the pics I realized my lens was dirty. This is a Marconi 2024 Signal Generator with problems. It covers 9 kHz to 2.4 GHz. We acquired it with some other equipment at an auction. And our technicians have discovered several problems. We use these things but we do not fix them, so if you can either use it"as-is" or fix the problems this may be a great bargain. The display has some lines through it which make it difficult, but not impossible to read. You can see the picture for details. In addition, the 1 and 5 buttons are not reliable and the output changes amplitude by up to 5 dBm without warning. There are no options installed. Unit powers up, produces RF, and the internal leveling and attenuator works fine. the Uncal output is missing the center conductor of it's"N" connector, it is also missing the affixed cap. The three external modulation input BNC connectors are slightly bent. easy fix. There is also a pretty big ding in the right rear top corner(see picture) No feet or bale is included. Power cord is of the newer configuration and one will be included. All in all, this would be a great repair unit, or a great unit to use for parts. Normal scuffs and marks from use. Vintage 100 - 155 MHz RF Signal Generator Works! Antique!
One of those odd things I picked up in my travels thinking"this might be good for parts some day" Well. I finally got around to cleaning up the shop And here it is. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that it seems to work! Powered up, an using a modern frequency counter, it actually spits out the indicated frequencies(well, OK, it's a bit off on the dial) No forther testing has been done. There is NO back for this, and it doesn't appear that one had ever been mounted(no screw holes on the back anywhere) The cabinet is wood( the front panel is metal, and the deluxe vintage masking tape function labels are included at no additional charge. What you see is what you get. no returns, no warranty, no promises. Heavy little bugger, too. Glad to ship overseas just be sure you note shipping cost before you bid! Paypal please.

Marconi 2018, 80KHz - 520MHz Synthesized Signal Generator , needs repair
Here is the Marconi 2018 Synthesized Signal Generator. 80 kHz to 520 MHz, prized for its low phase noise. Many companies preferred the Marconi over the HP 8640B for SSB receiver testing for this reason. This unit also covers the IF frequencies below 500 kHz which the 8640B doesn't. This unit needs some repair as the frequency can be set but is a little on the low side and probably not phase locked. Three key caps are missing but I used a tooth pick to actuate the three digits that are missing the caps. Notice the cal stickers are still in place so the inside hasn't been touched.
