Then realigned the yig/yto and cal out freq which calibrates the frequency accuracy across the spectrum, then performed the ytf realignment which calibrates the amplitude and preselector, then complete flatness calibration and realignment according to the service manual. this unit performs like new in regards to amplitude, attenuator, and frequency accuracy. my cal is much better than any cal lab's calibration because I run all the manual adjustments. they only run it thru a software program and realign the freq response(flatness) at most(if that) other companies like tmi just look at it and certify it automatically without even testing it thoroughly. Description I am selling an HP Agilent 89441A Vector Signal Analyzer. This instrument covers DC to 2.65 GHz in scalar and vector analysis modes. Scalar analysis mode is the equivalent of a spectrum analyzer. The vector mode enables frequency and time-domain analysis of both analog and digital modulation. It also enables transient analysis of RF signals. Such as frequency settling when you key up a transmitter. The analyzer has option AY8- internal RF source- so it is a both a DC to 2.65 GHz spectrum analyzer and a DC to 2.65 GHz signal generator. The internal source can generate CW. Noise, chirp, and arbitrary(user-defined) waveforms. Note, however, that the internal source is NOT a tracking generator. I do not know what this means. But I tried several of the enabled software options of them and they seemed to work as expected. Included: 2 power cords. 3 BNC cables, and 1 serial cable. Not included: manuals. Instrument feet. Condition The instrument passes the power-on self tests. Passes the periodic auto-cal process, and passes the Long Confident self-test. The analyzer was last calibrated in July 2013. The analyzer is in good condition. But has some scratches and sticker residue. The feet are missing. The display is soft in some areas, but this appears to be due to the protective clear cover, not the CRT itself. Please see the pictures so you can assess the condition yourself. Here we have used extended and ported Briley choke tube that is marked as Beretta Optima Hp Spectrum. It has a yellow ring around the top and it has marked IC which stands for improved cylinder. I am not sure what model Beretta this will fit but if you are not sure please ask before you bid and I will make sure it will fit. It is for a 12 gauge and is used but looks to be in good condition. It does have powder residue and plastic wad residue on the inside of the walls of the tube but other than that it is in good condition. HP 8591a 1.8GHz Spectrum Analyzer, Partially Working
Good spectrum analyzer. The 30khz filter looks to be out of alignment. The frequency calibration routine stops there and fails. I think the spec is 2.2dB, as you can see all the filters are pretty close, but far enough to fail. Frequency response and phase noise measurements look good. The 30khz filter looks somewhat crooked(1MHz and 2MHz filters are always crooked) Usable as-is, or you can align it and have a perfect analyzer. Guaranteed to be in the condition listed.
