However if it doesnt have actual adjustments ran its not a calibration but merely a performance test and general approval. and in many cases those approvals dont even pass spec! and spec is not that accurate to begin with! This is an 8594A Signal spectrum analyzer that goes to 2.9 ghz. This has been fully tested with my signal generator and works with no issues other than one( the tracking gen from 8 mhz to 160 mhz is 2.1 db low(1.8db is the max allowed for in tolerance/spec)so its just slightly out of spec. The overall condition of the machine is very good. There is a little bit of sticker residue on the front and back but it can be removed pretty easily.
