I brought this home from an estate and slowly powered it up with a variac as it has vacuum tubes in it. Both sides power up with power on lights working. The DC voltage side works on low voltage batteries and such i tested with. I didn't get the ohms to read correctly and the ohm adjustment nob turns very hard. The ohms do ground down to 0 when you touch the feed wires together. I couldn't get the AC meter to read voltages. I ran my variac to the leads and it wouldn't register. Cosmetically pretty nice.All the other dials and switches feel good and click sharply into position. It is very useful for accurate calibration, adjustment or analysis of amplifier characteristics and behavior(setting bias. Making circuit adjustments, prototyping, designing, troubleshooting, etc. All functions work properly on this unit. Although the spec says that it measures harmonic distortion down to 0.1% from 5 Hz to 600 kHz. The analyzer is capable of measuring down to 0.03% I have actually seen this when probing a Class-A vacuum tube amplifier with the filter switch applied and an originating signal generator producing a very clean sine-wave injected into the circuit!
