We hooked a signal up to it and it was able to display the expected readout. When we turned the machine on it had a"warm up" warning in the upper right corner of the display. After about 30 minutes it did a self calibration and we were able to do anything with it that we wanted. This unit does not include a manual or a power cable. There are quick reference cards that are attached to the underside that can be pulled out if you need a remind on how to use the controls properly.
