Then it would be perfect for testing those high freq's at a budget price. if you dont need the opts im selling 2 other ones for only 4000$. CRT looks much better in person. its blurred in the pics because the camera lens was dirty. there is some mild screen burn but nothing that would make you annoyed or fault your readings. just very minor and normal and at the bottom only, This is a 30 hz to 2.9 ghz hp spectrum analyzer. But with the optional mixers, you can achieve 50ghz + testing! or even up to 110 ghz with other mixers we calibrated it all manually. the flatness is insanely accurate. within.17 db error only! spec is 2 db. you can see it in one of the pics. there should be 18 pics. if they dont load just wait. this is a NEWLY REFURBISHED 8560E model spectrum analyzer with brand new calibration and certificate/sticker traceable to nist. the pics dont look that clear because after I took all of the pics I realized my lens was dirty. But believe me in person the crt looks great. you will not be disappointed! First I realigned the loda settings. Then realigned the yig/yto and cal out freq which calibrates the frequency accuracy across the spectrum, then complete flatness calibration and realignment according to the service

The unit can be loaded with up to 3 insert functional modules. I have one 34903A 20 channel switch unit for an additional cost. Conditions of the unit: The unit powers up and shows no error code. The cosmetic condition is good other than a few small scratches. The HP logo and model number on the scale has been partially rubbed-off probably by previous cleaning. The unit was sent for repair a few years ago for intermittent display and fixed. Since the unit has very little use. This is a pretty cool piece of test equipment if you work on SONET or DS3 related circuits or mux's. This generates a test pattern on a DS3 or STS1. Check out the pics for settings. It also has a DS3 Bridge Repeater AND a STS1 Bridge Repeater. These are great to test long runs of cable. Especially in multi story buildings. Or in an emergency you can regen the DS3/STS1 signal to get things working on a long run of cable. I've never seen one of these again.
