It seemed like a good idea at the time. But obviously this isn't something that makes toast for you every morning. It sat in its box all this time. Powers up. Display is sharp and true and all functions appear to be working perfectly. No issues that I can see. There is even hardly any dust inside! The company bought the unit in June of 2000 and it was powered up and used mainly to verify operation at a remote test site. From the outside and inside it looks practically new. The only missing items are 2 clips that hold the front cover shut. But I'm sure these can be procured either from Agilent or a second hand equipment store for cheap.
