Hi up for bids is a vintage Stewart Clipmaster Model 51-1 clippers with Shearmaster 31B Sheep/Goat Head. This was used for shearing sheep for many years. And now has been sitting in a box for the past 25 years until today. Comes with original box, booklet(box and booklet both have oil on them from the shears dripping oil on it over the past 25 years) and has a set of blades in it, an also comes with(10) 4HB Blades, and(16) 4HA Blades(blades have surface rust and also have oil coating on them, since they were sitting for years as well. I purchased this from an estate and the son told me some of these blades were never used and some had been sharpened before they retired from sheep farming. This is a used vintage livestock clippers from Clipmaster. Model 51-1. For it's age and sitting in a shed it is in pretty good condition. It actually runs even and has the original power cord with no nicks or damage. Many of the other of these I have seen have the plug replaced) Now, I don't know if anyone would actually intend to use these anymore, but if you do, I would clean it up a little on the inside and give'er some oil. It gives off a little bit of an ozone smell when you run it but might just need to be cleaned and broke in. It has electrical tape around it holding one of the brushes in. But I think that just adds character. Hey, that's how it was back then, people made do with what they had! As does the rust and dirt on the plug. Which will come off with some effort I'm sure. Anyway, enough parentheses. I didn't ... morerun this very long when I tested it and I'm selling it as-is. But I'm guessing you want it more for aesthetics than practical use. This seems to be is good working order, it has seen use but it runs great. The cord has some wear but is intact. I don’t know much about these so please check pictures carefully for condition. Vintage Stewart Shearmaster 31B-1 Shears/needs brush spring
NOTE: These shears were working fine but I lost the brush spring it popped out while I was shearing one of our Great Pyrenees' dogs. PLEASE note you must be able to replace this brush spring before use. It will need to be replaced. I no longer have these dogs so do not need them. They did work very well clipping their thick fur. Offering at no reserve a vintage used Stewart Model 21 Clipmaster. Found at a local sale. It is in the original box with instructions and booklet. Also included is a small tin, which includes a Stewart"top plate" No C 71M. I don't know how old this tool is, but probably from the 40's or 50's if not older. The clipper runs fine, though I have not tested it against actual animal trimming. It may need re-conditioning or new brushes, I don't know. Am selling as is. There are a couple broken teeth to the clippers on one end as shown in the pictures. It has a nice long original cord, I believe, there are a couple dry spots in the cord near the tool, see the pictures.
