I got them in a lot of vintage television parts that I recently acquired. The manufacturer is Federal. And has the numbers 1238A, 179408, and 350 printed on them, as well as a plus sign. I know nothing about selenium rectifiers(other than the limited research I did to find out what these were) or what these numbers mean. Perhaps you ... moredo and could use these? Please ask questions about these as I have no idea how to determine if they are in good working order or not. In my limited research on selenium rectifiers, it seems that the plates should not turn freely, and one of them does not turn, but the other has slight movement between the 3rd and 4th plates of the 6, so I assume that maybe one works and perhaps the other doesn't? Again, I have no idea and as such, they are sold with no guarantees. If you know of an easy way to test them, please let me know. They are orange in color, and measure 1.75" by 1.75" with about 1 1/8" of plates. Y ou should be sure these are the parts you want if you are bidding. If you are not sure. This auction is for a set of 12 selenium glass pieces. They are signed by both Steuben and Hawkes. They are signed with the Steuben fleur-de-lis and the Hawkes logo. The paper labels point to the signatures on some of the pieces. There are no chips or cracks. The pieces are a bit dusty from storage. The spots are reflections from the table and each other. They all have polished pontils on the undersides. There are 6 tumblers. 3 cordials, 2 wines and 1 goblet. They are heavy. These will be packed and shipped by UPS. Glass is light in weight and has a slight iridescence to it. Decanter is 7.5 inches tall. 9.75 inches with stopper in, stopper measures 3.75 inches. Hand blown with open pontil, no mark, glass has slightly oily feel, probably european. Une fois ouvert, le zéro du galvanomètre peut être retouché par rotation de l’axe des deux fils de cuivre spiralés qui prolongent et tiennent en suspension le cadre mobile. Un capuchon diffuseur blanc se fixe à la fenêtre de la cellule ... morepour les mesures en lumière incidente. La sensibilité de la pellicule détermine la position d’un disque tournant central. Visible côté cellule derrière trois ouvertures où s’affiche cette sensibilité dans trois unités équivalentes(ASA, DIN et degrés Scheiner) et comportant, à l’opposé, une échancrure servant à la sélection de l’un des paramètres d’exposition. Ce disque est manœuvrable par une manette, au dessus de la fenêtre de la cellule(7 valeurs affichables, 8, 12, 25, 50, 100, 200, 400 ASA, et 6 crans intermédiaires) Sous ce premier disque, un autre disque tournant, plus large, détermine l’échelle graduée mise en regard de l’aiguille du galvanomètre(fenêtre opposée à celle de la sensibilité) en fonction d’un paramètre au choix, à placer dans l’échancrure. Which is based on a selenium cell(thereby needing no batteries) which works, and is accompanied by a vinyl case(441) Hanimex was an importer and distributor who badge engineered lots of other peoples products. And this looks like it was originally a Sekonic light meter. It works well, wave it in and out of light and the meter moves back and forth. It’s clean, all the dials turn smoothly, looks virtually unused, and it comes with its own vinyl case. I can post this around Australia in an E-Bay satchel for $7.50, or it can be picked up in Brisbane. PayPal is my preferred payment option. For all E-Bay Items PayPal is our preferred payment option.
