For your consideration is this Clipmaster vintage sheep shearing machine I purchased at a local estate sale. It is either model 5L-1 or 51-1. It is difficult to see the numbers. This seems to be is good working order, it has seen use but it runs great. The cord has some wear but is intact. I don’t know much about these so please check pictures carefully for condition. Got sheep? This is a complete sheep shearing setup-blades. Combs, handles, and flex arms. This was a working collection with gloves,tools, twine, sharpening stones, etc. I'll start by saying that I don't know much about these. The blades and combs are Stewart. most are#5, some are#9, some are marked with AAA, some are marked"Texas goat comb" and"Arizona Comb" There are 50+ combs, 6 handles, 3 metal boxes with parts and more disassembled handles, There are 5 mechanical arms and one old motor with a collet on the shaft. Stewart Number 9 Shearing Machine Good Working Condition Sheep Goats Horses
100 years ago this was Stewarts more expensive model for shearing animals on the small farm. This machine is in excellent working condition. It stands 40 inches tall and the arm itself extends 45 inches out from the machine. I would recommend a cleaning and lube if one was to put this into use but I'm betting that it would be difficult to find very many of these in this condition. For shipping it would be best if the 3 feet were removed. This would mean the buyer would have to put them back on. Just a bolt and nut on each. Shipping in the USA is a flat $20.00.

Antique Stewart Clipper Sheep/Horse Shearing Machine, 1918
This is a vintage hand cranked Horse and Sheep clipper/shear. Evidently designed for field use where electrical power was not available. Lettering on the piece says"Stewart Clipper#1 Ball Bearing, Horse Shearing Machine-Chicago" When I purchased the piece I did not know what it was for, assumed it was rotten/frozen, and only intended to use the bottom stand/legs for a floor lamp project. I got it home, got it wire brushed, and discovered the crank/gears worked perfectly, they spin a shaft that the shear cable/hose would be hooked up to. The cable/hose is missing, but since the piece actually spins/works, I don't have the heart to butcher it for my own purpose(but I would in a heart beat if it does not sell right away, I'm not that nostalgic) My guess is this is the perfect piece for an old house or barn restore, or that ... morethe piece could actually have some industrial steampunk applications- repurpose time. The other two on ebay last I looked had asking prices of $229.99 and $477.88, so I guess you'll love my price.
