This is a very Awesome piece of history and VERY RARE! These sheers are all there. The Hand crank works. The gears all turn. The sheer blades don't work. But I would say if you tear it apart you could make it work. The only thing broke on this is a couple teeth on the guard of the sheers. It does have rust. But this is just a really amazing piece. I am cleaning out some of the excess tack I have. My kids aged out of 4H and then quit showing sheep several years ago. We had an extreme amount of clippers and blade sets. This set of Stablemates was serviced and cleaned and is ready for someone new to take home to shear their flock. They are in very good shape and come with a set of fine blades on them. These clippers can clip or shear hogs. Dogs, cattle, sheep, llamas, alpacas or goats and more. We used the Stablemate clippers to get our sheep ready for the showring. My daughter began shearing her own sheep at the age of 10 using this style clipper. They are that easy to use and that safe for the shearer and the sheep. The blade sets sold for them are the same that fit the Premier 3000 and 4000, Lister Laser, Legend, Star, Stablemate and I am sure I am leaving one out. I do not know what is wrong with clippers. The clippers are in Good cosmetic condition. There is nothing broken or missing on the clippers. The clippers have a model 510A head with 84AU blades.
