Penn 8500ss vintage USA-made high speed fishing reel This item is a Penn 8500ss fishing reel. It's one of the older models. Made in the USA. It's got a fair amount of wear- there are scuff marks and some discoloration on the brass parts. I'm not a fisher(except for compliments) but as far as I can tell it's intact and working- it spins, the locking mechanisms move, ect.
