Two Penn Senator 133-H Reels: These are two Penn Senator reels used only in fresh water. They are in excellent condition. They each come with a minimum of 100 yards of heavy stainless steel line.They each come with rod clamps. 4/0 Ball Bearing Spindle 3 1/4 to 1 gear ratio Holds approx 550 yards of 30 lb. line Both reels show a little rust on the side which has the handle and drag assemblies and flip levers. The second reel pictured shows only slight signs of use. The first one shows a little more than the first. The box for one the reels is not the original box. But a box from a Senator Long Beach 66 model.

Penn Senator 113 "Grouper Special" - Custom Reel
This is a very unique reel. I copied the idea from Alan Tani's reel repair website. The Newell parts cost $60 bucks(reel base& cross bars) the Long Beach 66 spool was $20 bucks, and I would say the Penn 113 4/0 parts are surely worth $19.00 bucks: I am actually losing the 9% that eBay charges to sell something! I built 2 of these, one is in my tackle bag. The main idea of this reel, for me, was the low gear ratio, followed by the narrowed frame/stronger reel base-cross bars. I thought, and still do, that this reel would be an exceptional reel for fishing big Grouper or other bottom fish in deeper water- the frame is strong and the low gear ratio with give you a"granny gear" so to speak to make it easier to crank on a big fish and keep him out of his hole: I am hoping someone reading this may think the reel is worth bidding ... moreon: Tight lines! For sale is my Vintage Penn Senator 113-4/0 fishing reel. I brought this reel from a good friend of mine many years ago. Unfortunately. I never got a chance to use it so I figured w hy not let someone else enjoy it. As you can see from the pictures this reel has black side plates and a green handle which are only found on older Penn reels. This reel also has a white and green braided line which many veteran fisherman like to use. You may have noticed pitting on some of the chrome on the bars. The handle and back plate. There is also one missing screw on the handle side of the reel and a small crack on the chrome plate in the 12 o'clock position in picture#5. Mechanically it's a 10/10 2)Penn Surfmaster 150 Cosmetically it's a 9/10 due small spot of rust on support bars and scratches on metal. Mechanically it's 10/10 Both reels clickers are loud. Nive34 old 113 from the 40's or 50's. Ther spool ois a modern replacement no doubt and is like new while the rest of the reel is mostly brassed, Cleaned and de-corroded.
