This is an auction for a Penn Jigmaster 500. It ia an older style but has not been used since it was last serviced 4 years ago. I'm selling it along with some other fishing gear I don't use. But also because I have someone moving in and need to make some space. You can check out my other auctions. All the reels are ones that I don't use very often so they are in good shape. This one in particular has a good freespool. Clicker, and drags. Additionally this reel has an upgraded ultralight aluminum spool that makes casting much further and reduces backlashes. Hi. Offered here is one used. Vintage, Penn Jigmaster fishing reel. Number 500. Made in Philo, Pa. Sticker on one end says Stren 10 lb test. As you can see in the pictures this reel has fishing line on the spool. Everything appears to operate nicely. There is one chip on one end of the reel. The chrome does have some pitting. Reel has been stored in a box in a shed for a number of years. I will be honest with you and let you know I know very little about fishing and the equipment used for it. Also, I have no idea if this is used for salt or fresh water fishing. I think the green handle is made of bakelite. Please note that all the money earned from every sale on my ebay listings goes directly to the rescued animals I have here. They include horses. Donkeys, goats, dogs and cats.
