Listen up everyone as wordy details are forthcoming. It works fine other than it won't go below 4.8 volts if there is no load and at 5 volts and higher it works fine. Voltage and current regulate like they should. Below 5 volts it needs at least a 200mA load to function right i.e. voltage regulates. The series of photos show the sordid details. 1: 5V 5A load and regulation is OK. 2: Load is disconnected and voltage stays put. 3: 1: 2.5V 3.3A load and regulation is OK. 4: Load is disconnected and voltage climbs slowly to xxx. 5: Into a short with current regulation.
