All the buttons and labeling are clear and legible. The display is also clear and unscratched. Please refer to the pictures provided below for more details on the condition of the item. We tested this unit with a Tektronix TM 5003 case(NOT included) We powered it on and tested different settings with a digital multimeter on both the dual tracking mode and the logic mode. The logic mode would always give the correct reading on the multimeter. However the dual tracking mode would give very odd readings. The negative side if set to 5 volts would read an average of about 13 volts on the multimeter. And the positive would read about 0.6 on average.
