Vintage Sorensen Nobatron High Voltage 300V Variable Bench Test Power Supply I don't know a whole lot about this thing. But I do know how to use the basic functions of a voltmeter and this unit appears to be working as it should I'm not sure what the know on the right does. But on one of the settings- all the outputs put out their advertised voltages. The voltages are variable as set by the knob on the left- it and the built in meter work great. The only issue I could find was that the ground on the bottom left set of posts didn't read as high voltage as the ground above it- the positive side works great if you use the upper ground post as shown in the pics. QRC40-8 PSU You are bidding on one used Sorensen Q Norbatron QRC40-8 40V 8-Amp Power Supply Module in Good Working Condition. Though it is in good working condition. It is in rough physical condition. It has been dropped a couple of times and one of the front"handles" has broken off and one of the rack wings is pretty bent. The back of the unit is also quite bent up. One of the capacitors inside is loose, but still connected. We have tested this supply with an electronic load and found that it outputs 40 Votls with no trouble. Due to the limitations of our load tester. We are unable to test maximum amperage. The 3 pictures show 5V. 10V and 20V and you can see by the multimeter reading it coordinates quite nicely with the digital display.
