Chinese 2k variac with a nice little enclosure I built. The strain relief for the cable coming into the housing is missing. Other than that it has no problems. I also put a small nightlight bulb inside to illuminate the built-in meter, which tends to read about 5v lower than what it actually puts out on the low end. Comes with a spare 20a fuse. Variacs are the best way to dim a light. Particularly open face units that generate a lot of filament noise when used with an electronic dimmer. This thing is quite heavy so I'm listing it as local pickup only for the time being.

This is an old stage lighting dimmer from an elementary school that was decommissioned in the early 1990's. It is rated for a maximum of 30 amps per channel for each of the 6 channels. For a total of 180 amps. It has never been used since. It seems at some point someone has attempted to remove one of the variacs but it has been secured back into place. This unit is being sold as-is since I do not have the ability to test it, however it was working when it was removed from service. All parts to make this a working unit are included. There may be some nuts and bolts missing, but nothing major. The Variacs are made by Luxtrol and are rated for 3600 watts or 30 amps at 120Vac each. There are 6 Variacs total in the unit.
