Here is a rare early 1960's brass Hollywood regency palm pendant light. The pendant light is in a great condit ion, which can be seen on the pictures added below. One of the brass leafs has a small minor dent. I have added a picture of it- but it is hardly noticeable. The length of ceiling mount and brass chain to the lamp is 102 cm. Antique vintage C.M. Sorensen scissor arm lamp light. Swivels from side to side. And both lights articulate up and down. Scissor arm is pat. sept 1914. I rewired this light and at tached the dual socket at the end. I did put a close to period correct socket. The socket is probably from the teens to 1930's. I am not 100% sure what the scissor arm was used for. If it was a medical or dental light or a factory/ industrial one. The scissor arm when closed is 8 3/8 inches by 7 inches, and when extended is 27 1/2 inches long by 5 1/2 tall. Arm is made of cast iron, and i put the brass sockets on it. This antique ES Sorensen lamp is brass. And handmade. I'm not certain where in the 20th Century this dates from, but it was used on an antique boat for a very long time. The ES Sorensen company still makes this lamp. It retails for $595, new, without the top part that blocks the smoke from the chimney. The globe which is spring loaded and etched with a boat/clipper ship into the glass is present and not damaged. The inner chimney is missing, but I found a replacement online for $38.95. The lamp is signed and reads"ES Sorensen. Kobenhavn, Danmark, 0564" The lamp has a glorious patina from the salt eating away at it and causing it to weather so nicely. I wish I could include a photo of the boat I got this from. But I did not take one.it was quite a ship on the sea for over 100 years so I'm not sure when this dates from. It ... morecertainly has a low number, under 600 and according to the maker this was handmade and hand sealed using the same machines they have been using since the early 1800s. So this could be from 1840- It's for sure not new. I did not light it. It's a gimble lamp so it is weighed with lead in the bottom so that it never overturns and starts a fire. The bracket that holds it is included and it's so cool for you can swing it back and forth as if you were on a ship and it never falls. I will carefully ship this fully insured. It's a great piece, and in my opinion with a little tweaking fully usable. I've seen others online that have been electrified, but none like this one, not with such a low# and not with such great patina. A great gift for anyone including yourself, and also an heirloom to pass on, yes, it's that good.

"Very Rare" Lewis Sorensen Wax Black Angel Christmas Ornament
Here we're offering a Very Rare and hard to find Lewis Sorensen original Christmas ornament. Mr. Sorensen was very well known for loving Christmas. His Santa's, Elves and his Angel ornaments made of wax. These smaller ornaments were made by the artist at his Fullerton, California home/studio in the 1960's and were quite popular among doll and Christmas collectors world-wide for many years. Mr. Sorensen mainly made white angels, but for special orders one could have a Black angel made as well like this lovely vintage ornament. Measuring 4" by 4" from each edge of it's original paper doily. We can only imagine how beautiful Mr. Sorensen's Christmas tree looked when this and the other ornaments he made were presented to the dozens of lucky doll clubs who were invited to attend Christmas parties in his home studio ... moreback in the day. As you can see in our photo images here. The face itself is made of wax and is affixed to it's original gold foil doily on the front. The face actually reflects into the gold foil like a mirror and when hung on your tree, it reflects in the light, giving it double look. This 3-D angel face is so pretty in person. One of our photo images makes the right eye look wonky, however that's only from the flash of our camera. In person both eyes seem to twinkle from their delicate painting with their upward glance as if towards the heavens. The back of this ornament still retains it's original Lewis Sorensen label which reads: This is a Portrait Doll an Original by Lewis Sorensen. These early labels are mainly found on his pieces from the 1960's. Though his later paper labels are similar but were printed in black ink on a white background. Large 1920's Carl Sorensen Art Moderne Arts and Crafts & Deco period Bronze Vase
Nice bronze vase with mottled green patina by Carl Sorensen. While other artists were still working in the Arts& Crafs style. Sorensen was one of the first to produce metalware in the Art Moderne style. The streamlined outline and the use of simple concentric rings as decoration point directly to the later Art Deco style. Sorensen's daring brought him to the attention of Tiffany where he became an important designer. The patination on the vase is quite nice, with areas between the decorative rings having a brown patina that contrasts with the dominant green. The base is signed with Sorensen's bronze mark and script signature. Made in America between 1910 and 1925. Condition: There are no issues. No dings. Size: 8 1/4"s tall by 7 1/4"s across the top.

RARE 1950's Holm Sorensen Soholm Denmark Vase Lamp Base Burgundia Mid Ceramic
Vintage Used piece. Please see pics for condition. No noticeable cracks or chips. Large piece- Approx. 10.5" tall by 2.5" wide. Not an expert in this pottery-inherited the piece and looking to find it a good home. Interesting piece as I thought it was just a vase(as I have seen similar vases online for over $200) however it has a pre-drilled hole in the bottom of one of the sides(see pic 4) so while it could be used as a decorative vase(with no water in it) It appears it is perhaps supposed to be a lamp base from the Burgundia 1950's/1960's series. Looks like it can be threaded with North American lamp wirings for it to work. Or again, a great vase to add to the set if you are a collector of this pottery. Vtg Denmark '65 Sterling & Gold Sugar Spoon W&SS Sorensen 830S Hexagon W/ Pick
Small gold spoon; a little under 4-1/2 inches long. Nicely rounded bowl with handle starting out thin. Smooth, and round. The main section of the handle is a tapering hexagon shape, with a squiggle pattern on 3 of the 6 faces, and smooth on the other 3 faces. The handle is ended uniquely, with a pointy cone finial; seemingly designed as an ice, or sugar pick. The inside of the bowl is marked"DENMARK 65" The back of the bowl has 2 oval stamps: W&SS" and"830S" These are the markings of W&S Sorensen silversmith company. The"65" presumably, would be for the year 1965? The"830S" means it is sterling silver. The color is gold, so I think it may be plated with yellow gold. There is light wear all over. But no bends or damages. No peeling or blistered plating. See all the pics for condition. Weight ... moreis 14.3 grams. This will be packaged carefully.
