Up for bids is this nice vintage Collins KWM-1 transceiver and 516F-1 power supply. These were found in a recent estate sale. The units are in nice cosmetic condition. There are a few minor scratches here and there but overall look great. The unit powers up but I have not done any other testing on it. The original manuals come with it. Corner and there is oxidation on some of the screws. Minor scratches too. There is some dust on the inside but there is no water damage or foul odors. GORGEOUS ANTIQUE VINTAGE 1928 GREBE SYNCHROPHASE 7 AC RADIO, W/O POWER SUPPLY
For your consideration is this gorgeous 1928 GREBE Synchrophase Seven A.C. radio which would have tuned the broadcast band. The radio has four stages of tuned RF. A non-regenerative detector and two stages of audio amplification. The original Synchrophase Seven released in 1927 was a battery set. The following year, the factory converted the Synchrophase 7's to operate on a.c. The 01A tubes in the battery radio were replaced with the new a.c. 26 tube and an external ac power supply was designed to provide the correct voltages. Unfortunately there was no ac power supply with this radio when purchased. It has been in my collection for over 30 years. The cabinet is made of mahogany and the front of the cabinet is a butt walnut. The exotic grain and color is just beautiful. The recessed control section was originally sprayed a light gold ... morecolor on a walnut veneer and then coated with a clear lacquer. But. Overtime the lacquer has yellowed, dried and peeled, although it still retains most of it's original design. There are no issues with the cabinet and overall it is still in great condition still retaining a deep luster. The cabinet finish is the factory original. The two off-setting sculptured columns are unique to Grebe and still perfect. The four flattened ball legs are all there and are in great shape. The five large binocular coils are in perfect condition. The green wire is a stranded Litz wire and the design of the coils cancel magnetic fields eliminate the need for shielding. The knobs are the original and in great condition. Single knob tuning is by a linkage arrangement under the chassis. Some linkage parts were pot metal and have broken over time. The variable capacitor frames were also made from pot metal and although haven't broken apart. Cracks are visible. One tube is missing, the detector tube#27. 130 Amp 12 To 14 Volt CB Radio Ham Amateur Linear Amp Power Supply
This auction is for ONE repurposed server rack supply converted to a 130 amp 12-14 volt power supply. This unit can operate on either 120 or 240 volts. At 120 volts it is rated at 112.5 amps. At 240 volts it's rated at 130 amps. I have installed 2' of high amp cable. I have installed a ON/OFF switch. Variable voltage output pot and a fan speed pot. These servers work great. If you would like more or less voltage you can change the value of the output pot. I used 1k ohm. Higher pot gives more output voltage ect ect. I find the unit works great at around 13.2- 14.2 volts. As with all scientific, lab, or astronaut gear IT is SOLD AS IS. No returns, No refunds, No claims as not described. What I have described is what you get. They work flawlessly when treated right.
