Here is a Mirage RCI 2950 10 meter Amateur radio in the box. It is the same radio as the Ranger RCI 2950. It is a good working radio and is from a smoke free home. It includes a Tripplite 20 amp power supply. DOSY meter and stock microphone that has the up/ down buttons on the top. The DOSY meter has a hole on the right of it where I used to have an on/ off switch that controlled the internal light of the meter. The switch is gone and does not interfere with the function of the mater. You can go to your local electronic store and install a toggle switch if you choose to. Available for is a lovely National FB-7 receiver. Complete with a total of 10 coils. Also included is a National Velvet-AB(5897AB) power supply. I will also include numerous pieces of literature that came with the radio, along with some additional dial plates. This unit was acquired from a gentleman named Bob. Bob was 91 years when I met him. And was extremely proud of this equipment. He had restored it approximately 15 years ago, and had won an award with his restoration work. These pieces really do look great. Take a look at the photos below, and I think you'll agree. The power supply had a new power cord installed during the restoration. The cord is very tight from sitting for many years in a closet. But it is good condition overall. The connection cord between the receiver and power supply had a split in it, and while no bare wire ... moreis exposed, it should probably be replaced soon. Typically I do not power on older units that have sat for over 10 years. But Bob wanted to demonstrate. Everything powers up, and I have since let it run for up to 15 minutes without an issue. I plugged this in and the power light lit up. Both the switch on the unit and on the cord turned it off/on. Other than that I don't really know how to test this. The unit is dirty and shows some use/wear. There is some black tape around part of the cord- I didn't remove any of the tape but I assume it is damaged. Being sold in as is condition and untested. Most of our items are from estate sales so we do not know all the history/ usage of our listed items.
