The WOBO remote pedal switcher has a number of advantages over other devices Pedal switching devices usually fall into two categories. Complex programmable devices with additional midi options and loads of other save options and settings to adjust. The best of this type are made by G-Lab( However I defy anyone to make full sense of the manual) The second type are much simpler devices some being programmable and some not Both types are typically designed to go on your pedal board. And both types only have a single input and output with a number of inline switchable loops. The problem with these designs. A) placing the device on your pedal board makes your board even bigger ... moreand heavier than it already is and of course there’s all those additional patch leads you will need to carefully make and route on your board! Not to mention the additional power supply needed to power the device. B) because these looper are typically single chain input and output. You have no option for pedals you wish to place in the effects loop! This is perhaps the biggest flaw with other pedal switchers. The exception is one made by Rocktron. But they still got it wrong. Because they give you routing options between every single loop, which is just overkill and means you have to buy and place three patch leads on your board for each pedal.
