Which will give it almost 400 track-minutes of recording in 16-bit uncompressed wave format. I have used many multi-track recorders. Analog and digital. MR-8 is my favorite. But can record 34 minutes of uncompressed audio at 44Khz. 64 factory effects and 64 slots for your own. 131 preset rhythms. Another nice feature-this can record only 2 tracks at a time, but all 8 tracks can be mixed down to tracks 7/8 internally, so you actually have the ability to mix 6 more tracks with that. I have kept this in excellent condition, cleaned all pots and faders with Deoxit before listing, check all hardware functions, inputs and outputs are working. Some minor scuffs from my using it, but no major scratches or damage, looks about an 8 on a scale of 1-10. The LCD is not backlit, but is very large and easy to read. This auction is for a used MOTU UltraLight digital audio interface. This is the original model( not the MKII. III, etc. Included in the auction: MOTU Ultralite Power adaptor User Manual(Note. The manual says, For Windows, but the unit works on a Mac just fine. That is the system I've used it on(Mac) I have a pdf of the Mac version of the manual I can send) Note that the original Audio Desk software is not included. No idea where it is- I use Ableton Live. I've had this unit for several years. It has been used in a smoke-free home studio. Usage has fluctuated- I used it quite a bit for the first couple of years and then the usage tapered off to a once in a while thing. There are some scuffs and scratches on the surface but it is not beat up by any means. It is in excellent condition other than that cosmetic wear. I had it mounted on ... morea rack shelf for awhile so there is a velcro strip attached along the bottom. You can see all of this in the included photos. Also. These things are built like tanks- very heavy duty, so they wear very well. Functionally, This unit has been very well cared for and I have had no issues with it. Although I haven't used it extensively in awhile(mostly for playback) I have no reason to believe it should not fully work as expected. If you test it out and do come across any issues, though, please contact me. The Ultralight is just packed with inputs and outputs and is a really nice interface. It is also unique in that it can be used as both a computer audio interface(Firewire) and as a stand-alone mixer. Using the included power supply. You do have to navigate the on-screen menu to set it up for this, but once you get the hang of it, it can work as a little mixing console on its own. All of the inputs and outputs can be active simultaneously, which boils down to 10 inputs and 14 outputs. Is that practical? This DAC is all about the sound. It doesn't come with a remote or wireless. I found that the best sound is from the USB and coaxial interfaces. As with most DACs. The sound improves considerably after it has been powered on for about an hour. I usually leave it on because power consumption is minute in standby mode.
