For sale is a combo(set) of the famous and very rare Stax SR-Lambda Signature with the amplifier STAX SRM-3 with power cord. Both are used but in great working condition. There is no channel imbalance with the headphones as well as with the amplifier. No hum with the amplifier. Everything is working great. The Earspeakers Stax SR-Lambda Signature: As described above. Both earpads(left and right) of this headphones has cracks and may need or not replacement depending on your taste. I personally was totally fine with them and they don't affect neither comfort nor the sound quality, that's why I never thought about replacing them. The headband is not the original one but was replaced with a nice dark brown ... moreleather. Aesthetically, I prefer the color and quality of this headband than the original one. The sound out of this lambda signature is amazing. A lot of audiophile agreed that this is one of the best, if not the best sounding lambda. I used to compare this with the original normal bias lambda with the STAX SRM-T1S and I can tell that the lambda signature is a significant step up. The bass is amazing, very deep, detailed and clear. Some people talked about the treble etch with the signature but I myself never noticed it, or it could be that this pair doesn't have the etch issue. As a matter of fact, this pair doesn't have the original foam anymore inside the earcups. The crumbled foam were replaced with a high quality acoustic fabrics that is used for audiophile speaker. I personally prefer the sound of this headphones with the acoustic fabrics than without it. I do not know if the treble etch problem was resolved by the acoustic fabrics or it could be my ears or that this phones never had this issue but I only know one thing, this pair sounds amazing and I can guarantee that you will be satisfy with its sound quality.
