Table Top L-Bar Shrink Wrap Machine - APS Model L-1414 with Heat Gun & Wrap
Shrink wrap machine with heat gun. L shaped(L-Bar) sealer 14x14" with roll of 12" plastic. You can seal 2 sides of your item in one pass. Since the top doesn't need sealing and the one side is sealed from the previous use. This means you can seal most things in one motion. Comes with replacement wire. The part that heats up& can burn out with heavy use. This is everything you need to start shrink wrapping! The roller for the film is integrated into the sealer which makes it easier to operate. Its position can be adjusted and locked in. There is also bar that holds the film open so it's easier to slide in your item. Speeds up the process. The blue part that you push down to make the seal is open in the middle so if your item is bulky. It just goes around it. The details: The company that used this unit went out of business ... moreand so it hasn't been used for a number of years. The unit is being disposed of as part of the clean up. It was just tested and it worked perfectly! It looks solid. Industrial strength and well made. It has a partial roll of shrink wrap plastic included(not sure whether the age of that matters. But it seems to be fine) The teflon covers are the surfaces that the wire presses down on. As you see from the photos that there is some wear. But are working in our test. These require periodic replacement as part of normal maintenance. The wire(or"blade" is the part that heats up and presses down on the teflon covers.
