This is a combination GERRARD tensioner and crimper. Wheel type tensioner. Model: 2308. Size: 1/2" Handles strap 1/2" wide. I tryed it around a piece of plywood. Tightened it easy and to the point of indenting the wood. The grippers are sharp and in good condition. There is only one crimp on clip which I will ship with unit so you have an original. I tested the crimper with a Signode clip which I had to grind shorter to fit the holder slot. It takes stacks of clips which are automatically pushed on the band/strap for crimping. Does a double crimp. Not sure if it can be seen in picture. 539-Here is a used Signode banding tensioner for 3/4"1"1 1/4" strapping banding. One of the springs is broke for one of the pawls and there is wear on the pawl gear on the same side as the spring is broken. Will still work fine. You just don't has as fine of adjustment when tightning. Some of the rubber feet are missing but you really don't need them. This is a SIGNODE hand operated banding/strapping crimper-sealer. This is for 3/8" steel strapping. Good old quality item. Used for crimping 3/8" clips. This does a double notch/crimp. I tryed it on the 1/2" clip. It was the only size I had. It crushed it easily, I'm sure it works ok. There is also a strap cutting area. Looks like it does a double cut, creates a slug about a 1/8"1/4" wide. tryed it on the 1/2" strap. The overall length is 18" Thanks for looking.
