The next time the cycle button was pressed, the strapping wrapped around the object, it was pulled tight, the ends melted together and then a nice clean cut. Sometimes when the strapping was being pulled through, it got jammed at the guide cover ... morepin assembly, and we had to start over, then it worked. A good cleaning, adjustments and/or replacement of the guide cover pin assembly, may take care of this problem, but we are not sure. No further testing was done. It is dirty and shows signs of hard use. It pushed the steel right though and sealed the band but was sticky on the release but some wd-40 freed it right up.
