VINTAGE RAFFIA/STRAW WEAVE SEA SHELLS NASSAU PURSE SHOPPING BEACH TOTE BAG
This is for a very cute vintage 50's 60's Nassau Bahamas Woven Straw. Raffia, Sea Shell beach bag, purse, tote. Very colorful and in great shape. There are no cracks or breaks in the straw. Still very strong and sturdy. I does not look like it was used except maybe for some light storage if that. There are a couple of broken raffia strands that are holding the shells on. But they are still secure. The inside needs a little brushing out. Lined with orange fabric with no signs of wear. The bag measures 11" high. 13" wide and 7 1/2" from front to back. Could also be used in a Beach Decor as a: Sewing bag, Magazine bag, Rolled hand towels or supplies in the restroom. Vintage Large Woven Straw Tote Bag/Shopper-Ethnic BoHo-1940's-50's-Decorative
I have a large vintage woven straw tote bag/shopper from the 1940's to 1950's that is in very good condition. It is 14" tall not including the handles. 18" wide and approximately 5" to 6" deep. It has metal rings to attach the handles and decorative straw balls& flowers on the front. Most of the yarn design has fallen off the front but I left what was left on in case someone would want to replicate it or it could just be removed. It is sturdy but one end of a handle has been reattached with clear plastic wire thread. It could be easily attached more securely with the proper materials.
