This beautifully rustic cake carrier found it's way home with me from a local estate sale. I could not resist it's wonderful. Aged patina and playful tole painted flowers. This definitely would have been a piece my grandmother would have used! This piece measures about 7 1/2" tall and 12 1/4" in diameter. The top does come off to reveal a cubby for utensils. Extra toppings, or even a shallow pie. It is definitely showing it's age which, I think, makes it so appealing! Lot of 2 Longaberger Baskets - 2006 Tea basket and 2005 Coaster Tote w Inserts
This is a lot of 2 Longaberger baskets- a 2006 Tea basket with plastic insert(heavy duty thick 1/8" type. Not light) and a 2005 coaster tote with black liner and regular plastic insert. All marked Longaberger. The black cloth liner for the coaster tote has bleach specks on it and has soiling from display but still has a lot of life left in it. No rips. No splits to either basket or the liners. Both very clean with nice warm patina. The coaster tote basket has a wood handle and measures approximately 5.5" x 5 and 1/4" and 2.5" deep. The tea basket has leather handles in excellent condition and measures approximately 7.5" wide, 5 and 1/8" front to back and 3 and 3/4" deep. Both marked on the bottom as shown.
