Signode BXT Battery Powered Has a Bosch 14 volt Battery Charger and it looks like a fairly new aftermarket battery. I am a mechanic by trade but do not know this machine. I plugged it in and charged the battery.took about 35 minutes. When you install the Battery the green#3 light comes on. When you depress the thumb button the motor runs and it sounds real powerful and nice and tight. If you depress the red button on the control panel all of the numbered lights come on RED for a couple seconds then settle down to where the#3 button is lit green. I would say it is set for number 3 whatever that is. Then the black thumb lever activates the welder and cutter. I welded a couple straps and the welder welds fine. You can see in the pictures that the cutter works also. all of the pictures are of this machine.I have never held another one! The tensioner works fine too I do not know what the strapping width is set at so that will have to be figured out by the new owner. Since I do not know how to cycle this machine through all of it's functions and knowing that it probably is fine Lets call it in as is condition. Up for bid: A used Signode RCD-3431 steel banding sealer. This is used for 3/4" steel banding. The crimper is in used good. Working condition. There are scratches, very light surface rust and some wear from the crimper being set down. There is a small round peg on one side, that has a piece chipped of it. The peg acts as a guide and a catch for the handle. The peg will move side to side, but does not affect the operation of the tool. I used this tool almost daily for about two years after the peg chipped off, and had no problems with crimping seals. Signode BXT Battery Operated 1/2-5/8" Poly Bander Strapping Tool Hello, Offered here is a: Signode BXT Battery Powered Hand Operated Strapping Poly Bander Tool Seems to be in fine working condition. Tension and welding time adjustments are able to be easily changed Has a Bosch Battery Charger and it looks like a fairly new aftermarket battery. I just had a professional take a good look at this machine and run it through it's paces. He told me it is in fine working condition with a newer aftermarket battery. It is in working condition and should be for some time according to the professional. It is to be used with 1/2 inch and 5/8 inch strapping which is why it did not cut correctly the 13/16 inch strapping material. But it welded it fine. I understand this is an older machine but being a mechanic myself the older machines are usually ... moresimpler and more reliable than the newer ones! I am saying that this strapping tool appears to do what it is supposed to.
