Amazing NY World's Fair Official Souvenir 1939 Pin in Original Packaging
Amazing NY World's Fair Official Souvenir 1939 2-part Pin in Original Packaging. Up for auction is a really nice N.Y. World's Fair Official Souvenir pin in lovely orange and blue colors showing the famous image and the year 1939 on a nice goldtone color on the round part of the pin. There is a goldtone connecting chain to the smaller"39" on an eagle shield. I did not remove this pin from the package since I think it should not be opened and it is in a clear sealed cellophane package. On the top front and right side you can see printed"Official Souvenir N.Y. Worlds Fair" and on the bottom it says"Lic. 185. Blecher U.S.A. and then there is the famous logo of the NY World's Fair in the bottom left corner. On the back, you can see a sticker that says"EXPOSITION SOUVENIR INC" and I'm not sure ... moreif the rest is a price or a code- it says"25 J 511" Also on this back side is a small piece of tape that is holding the cellophane closed. You can also see the back side of the pins showing the fasteners. The size of the package is 2 3/8" wide and 2" high. The pin itself is in two parts- the larger is nearly 5/8" in diameter, the smaller 39 shield is 1/4" by 3/8" and the chain is probably about 1" long, but I can't measure it exactly since it is in the package. What a really neat official souvenir pin from the 1939 New York World's Fair in original packaging! All of my items come from a smoke free home. I accept Paypal only please. Twelve hypodermic needles that were produced between 1940- 1960. I tried to pin down a closer date of manufacture. But details on the company are sketchy other than it was founded in the late 1800's and appears to still be in existence today as CareFusion. The needles are still in the original box and holder. The plastic covering them is intact and has not been removed and replaced as far as I can tell(no adhesive or heat was used to seal them) The inner packaging looks pristine. The needles all have wires inserted in them that are meant for cleaning of the cannula for reuse prior to sterilization. You are not going to find something like this very often. The outer box shows wear from being stored over the years. But the contents look like they were produced yesterday. You are viewing a PEPSI Die Cast Bank that measures approximately 5 1/2" long and approximately 3 1/2" high. That is still in its original styrofoam packing, in the original box, from Dads extensive collection of many things that is now up to us to find a new home for. The styrofoam that covers the one side of the truck bank had been broken(probably so Dad could check out his new treasure without removing it from its encasing) but the broken piece has the tape on it from the manufacturer that held it in place! There is a tiny key embedded in the styrofoam, probably to unlock the bank. This is a very nice, MINT, item. We are a non-smoking household. This line includes a VP 6504 wrapper(SN 98-246) An ES450 hole punch(SN obscured by repeated cleaning) 3 ASB 380-K feeders with 150mm horizontal deliveries(SNs 981366, 1367 and one other obscured) a 2M conveyor stacker, a transfer unit and various spare parts, tools and manuals. The machine is missing the vacuum scrap removal system. A new replacement is readily available from the manufacturer. This complete line was delivered to Paper Magic Group shortly before 2000 and was used in 3 different PA factory locations wrapping"gift tags" for various mass retailers. Records seem to indicate that it was originally configured with recloseable tape equipment but those optional components are no longer with the machine. Additionally it appears that it was originally configured to ... morerun two tracks(two products for every cycle of the machine) although not all the components are still with the line. Also. If run in-line with the punch, only a single track would work. All components. As best as we can reconstruct, were delivered together with the original configuration. You will receive 17 sheets which breaks down to 68 square feet if you need to use it in 1 foot wide pieces. With packaging. Packing slip and shipping label that brings the entire overall weight to just over 13 ounces. At 13 ounces, this allows me to sell you the maximum amount of foam before hitting the price increase with shipping and allow me to do it at no cost to you. This foam is Recycled. The foam is clean and free of tears or holes. It does periodically have small amounts of clear packing tape on one side which would have no bearing with most uses of it.
