Czech Art Deco Glass Decanter with Flowers Stopper & Silver Banding
This is a beautiful art deco glass decanter made in Czechoslovakia in the 1930s or 1940s. It is red with sliver banding around the bottle part. The stopper is formed in the shape of 2 flowers. It is about 9” inches tall with the stopper in and 7.5” inches without the stopper. It is about 5” inches at the widest part of the bowl. Today I have up for bid a vintage Pepsi Soda wooden with metal banding sturdy soda case. On the inside of the case it has stamped A. W. P. Cases 5 Newport. Ark. with a 78 or 79. It is in great shape and sturdy overall considering it's age. No cracks or repairs on the metal straps along the edges or bottom but there is a curl in the banding which I showed in photo 6 and 7. Looks like it got caught on something during loading or unloading. Approx. 5 1/4" tall. 11 3/4" wide and 18 1/4" long. Always check the photos. For they are a very big part of the description.
