VINTAGE MEPPS COMET NO. 1 SPINNER FISHING LURE With A 1-3/4" RUBBER MINNOW RIG
Vintage Mepps No. 1 spinner fishing lure with a 1-3/4' rubber minnow rig. I obtained this lure over 30 years ago from the estate of an old avid fisherman. I have never used this lure. It has been sitting in the tackle box I received it in all these years. The spinner is silver in color but some of the finish has worn off and shows some brass. The triple hooks in the tail section are a little rusty. But still have sharp barbs. The bottom two rear fins have some damage. One is almost all gone and the other has a small tear. This lure must have been a favorite of the previous owner. The entire lure still looks great. Add it to a vintage collection or go fishing with it.
