Vintage Helin T4 Flatfish Crank Bait Fishing Lure Blue/White 4 Triple Hooks
For sale is a Helin T4 Flatfish fishing lure. It is blue/white and has 4 triple hooks on it. It is in good used condition and measures 3 1/2" long. I am not a fisherman so ask me what you need to know and I will do my best to answer. I am putting on a old tackle box contents and stored items so please watch my other auctions and I will combine shipping if you are the successful bidder on any of my items. I have been selling for 42 years so ask questions if you want to. I have been getting good reviews so check me out. I am old school and would not be selling items I wouldn't have in my own home. Vintage Helin Flatfish T4 Wooden Lure (3 1/2" with 4 Hooks) original paint
I found this old wooden lure in a tackle box that I purchased at an estate auction. It is obviously used; the paint is worn and the treble hooks are bent. The carved wooden body is about 3.5 inches long and just under an inch wide. The lure has 4 treble hooks– 2 in front and 2 in rear hanging from wire holders. The metal has a nice old look. But very little rust. The lure is painted tan/orange on top with a black front and black stripe down the center. There is a T4 painted on the top of the lure. On the bottom at the front is painted red and there are a couple of black spots on the bottom with two red spots on each side. Not very knowledgeable on these old lures, but this one looks very nice. A bit of research on the web indicates that this is a Helin Flatfish T4. There is no original box or papers with this lure. Set of three vintage lures: 1. Helin Flatfish T4 Lure- Yellow with black and red spots. 3.25" in length. Manufactured in 1948 by Helin Tackle Co. out of Detroit. Mich. Body is visibly used but in good condition. Hooks are slightly rusted. 2. Rebel Minnow- Black and Silver. 5.5" in length. Manufactured in 1965 by the Rebel Lures division of Plastics Research and Development Corp. out of Fort Smith. Ark. Body and hooks are in excellent condition. 3. Heddon Magnum Tadpolly- Silver with Cobalt Blue scales. Manufactured in 1970 by Heddon Lures out of Fort Smith. Ark. Body has a few cracks in the paint. Hooks are in like-new condition.
