Bagley's Balsa B2 BB2 Square Lip all Brass Crankbait Lure A65 BAGLEY Vintage
This is an old Bagleys Balsa Wood Lure with a square lip and brass connections as shown. I'm not a lure collector. So I am not sure as to the specifics on this lure. I think it is a B2 model, but again, I'm not sure. The lure has some light lines, or cracks I guess you could say. Please see photos for better details on the lure. Looks like it was not used much, if at all. Seems like cracks in the paint are more from age and humidity, rather than use, because the paints looks shiny. The lip measures 1 1/2" and the body measures 3" It has a silver& black, shad paint pattern with orange belly and red gill marks. This lure came from a collection that I acquied. It has never been fished and is in mint condition. It has steel line tie and hook hangers. According to J. Garland's Guide, BS2/PF2s were listed in catalogs intermittently from 1976 through 1995. Bagley Pinfish/Shiner lures had three different names. The paint has a crack mark around the belly weight, where the front hook is attached. The plastice bubble pack has two tears but it is all there. This comes new in its original sealed bubble package. 4 Possibly Rare Fishing Crankbaits Bagleys Small Fry Vintage Fishing Lures
This auction is for 4 unused 2 3/4" bagley small fry baits. I don't know much about these baits but do fish and use some of them. I'm just clearly not an expert on these. They are missing their boxes and have some light wear on the finish from banging around some. The gold one has some light nicks in the black finish near the head and the chartruese one has a nick next to the bill. This actually looks considerable worse in the picture than it is. Only the chrome one has it's original hooks, the others are bronze hooks and have been replaced. I was told none of these were ever in the water, from looking at the bill and the finishes, I would agree. The line ties and hangers are all nice. This may well be a harder to find fishing lures. The pictures don't do these justice, they're actually real nice. I will answer whatever ... morequestions you have but my knowledge is limited here. I will ship this for a flat rate of $2.50 to the lower 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii or international will be at the buyer's expense.
