This is a great Helin’s Fly-Rod FlatFish F7-SC(Scale Finish) late 50’s early 60’s with the original box and flyer/order form inside. The Lure is in wonderful shape and believe it is wood but possibly Tenite. The box is in great shape also but the clear film does have a tear. Charles Helin invented the Flatfish in 1933. It was filed Oct. 2nd 1934 and was Patent March 10th 1936. The plug possesses the most natural swimming movement on a slow retrieve that is possible to design. The Flatfish is lightly built to retain its lifelike action. This is a great lure for any lure collector! This lure is as is acquired and had a quick rinse to remove dust. Can’t quite make out the size of the larger one. But looks like F7 and it is 2 and 1/4” long. These are used flatfish that show a tiny light mark or a little stain, but minimal and nothing to keep them from catching fish as you can see.
