Fishing Tackle This listing is for 2 unique lures. Please note I have no history on these lures. I am guessing they may have been prototype or test models. The grey and red lure measures 2-1/2 inches long. I believe it is wood with tack eyes. It has two holes in the underside that may be for hook placement. The red and white mouse shaped lure appears to be unfinished. It measures 1-3/4 inches long. This lure looks like it was set-up for a lip that was never installed and the wood looks like it was meant for hook cup hardware. The hooks are double hooks and not treble. I am trying to help out my neighbor who is in her 70s. She recently gave me her father’s fishing gear to sell off. He passed away in 1962, so everything here is at least that old. Her father was a fisherman, not a collector so these pieces have all been used. Well maintained, but used none the less. There is a lot of gear here. Lures, rods, reels, tackle boxes, ice fishing gear. Some of this stuff appears to date back to the turn of the century. Over the next few months I hope to get it all posted.
