New Idea manure spreader PTO drive
Up for auction is one New Idea manure spreader. It is PTO driven. It is in fair condition. Please see the pictures as we are currently using this spreader. It works fine but is a little small for us. I bought this to use but since then I found a bigger one that fits our needs better. The back beater has been welded and fix, still works, just trying to tell you all I know about it. John Deere 33 manure spreader 540 pto
I have a John Deere#33 manure spreader. It has 540 pto. The wood is in excellent condition, the apron chain is good two bent bars still works. I have used it on five loads and no trouble. Tires are dry crack, gearbox is good everything work good on this, the beater has like new teeth. There are three bolts on the drum that have been cut off I don't know what they are for, but I have used it like this and nothing has gone wrong. Can load or haul for 3.00 a mile. New Idea 201 Manure Spreader PTO driven.
This was my Dad's spreader that he bought about five year ago. It is in excellent condition and has not had a lot of use. He wanted to get it painted before he was going to use it. It has just sat in the barn the last five years and he never got around to getting it painted. I pulled it out of the barn and washed it off. It is a PTO driven web and beaters. The PTO shaft has a metal shield that sticks in places where it is dented. But I took a rubber mallet and tapped it to get it to slide on to the tractor 540 PTO shaft. The web and beaters worked as they should. This is a nice looking spreader as you can see from the pictures. Please email with any additional questions. Thanks for looking.
