The two gaurds on the back that protect the chain have been removed for the most part due to rust. The chain on the floor has some new links and a few extra links will also be sold with the spreader. Oliver ground driven manure spreader
I have a Oliver manure spreader it is a ground driven. It has some rust on the bottom of the sides. Chains are good as you can see in the pics, I used it for about 10 loads today. Everything work good descent little spreader. It can be used for a parade wagon or for use, but it is being sold as a used piece everything is as is where is. I been in this business for about 15 years, if you don't like what you see when you show up don't take it. Items like this are getting harder to find this a solid piece. New Idea 201 Manure Spreader PTO driven.
This was my Dad's spreader that he bought about five year ago. It is in excellent condition and has not had a lot of use. He wanted to get it painted before he was going to use it. It has just sat in the barn the last five years and he never got around to getting it painted. I pulled it out of the barn and washed it off. It is a PTO driven web and beaters. The PTO shaft has a metal shield that sticks in places where it is dented. But I took a rubber mallet and tapped it to get it to slide on to the tractor 540 PTO shaft. The web and beaters worked as they should. This is a nice looking spreader as you can see from the pictures. Please email with any additional questions. Thanks for looking.

Vintage Antique Manure Spreader Ground Driven All Metal / Steel
Unknown Manufacturer. Looks similar to New Idea, but it's all metal. Hasn't been used or moved in 10 years, but recently inspected and seems to all be intact. All chains all look to be in good condition. A can of WD-40 would be a good idea before moving it. Has a steel bed with no major rust. All spreaders I have seen all have wooden beds, which makes this spreader unusual. Everything looks to have nothing more than surface rust. One tire has snow chains on it. Both tires are sunk in mud about 3 inches, so might need replacing. One of the two front levers that engage either the elevator or the rakes is broken off and a vise grip has been holding it in place for years. Still works without the lever.
