Correct fitment to the David Bradley walk behind tractors. I recently bought an old classic car from a gentleman in Alabama and he had this tractor in a barn which his Father bought new around 1952 or 1953. His Father passed away and he had no use for it so I ended up buying it. Don't know why because I will never use it but it is in such nice original condition I couldn't help myself. So it is for sale. This is a David Bradley Super Power walk behind garden tractor- model number 917-57561. Series 265. I am not that familiar with these tractors but here is a description of what I have found: Overall ... moreit is in very nice unrusted condition. All the metal is nice and undamaged. It has the ORIGINAL RARE CONTINENTAL RUNNING ENGINE- casting numbers look like AU7B. Armstrong governor. Aldor spark plug. 16 inch wheels. Has the original Allstate 6:00 X 16 tires which are no good. After clearing the exhaust pipe of mud dauber mud I put a little gas in it and was amazed when it started on the 2nd pull of the rope. The engine sounds very good. The gearbox is probably fine- you can push it in neutral and hear the nice click, click, click, but I have no way of running it in gear because it will need some work on the hand controls- they are all frozen and maybe some control/cable parts are missing- check the photos to be sure. Looks three of the implements are David Bradley because they have the DB manufacturing plate attached. The sickle bar works perfectly and has the number 917-57569. The Spike Harrow has the number 917-57519 and the adjustable foot plow has the number 917-57550. The other 2 may be homemade. Vintage 1950's David Bradley Large Arborists Chainsaw
This a vintage 1950's era David Bradley Chainsaw in remarkable condition. It is an estate find. The owner took very good condition of it and I found it in a dry cellar wrapped in a potato sack and twine. I had a small engine mechanic look at it and he said it was in awesome shape. The piston looks like brand new! He advised me not to get it going with modern fuel for fear of drying out the seals. I took his advise and left it like I found it. The new owner can either just use it for Man cave display(as i have) or perhaps get it going with fuel for older engines. So that is why I am listing it as a parts item rather than running chainsaw. You will be hard pressed to find an unrestored sixty plus year old chainsaw in this type of condition anywhere. This is the real deal no disappointments.

Offered for sale is an incomplete 3 point hitch(no lift arms) from a early Sears Suburban-tractor still had same drive system as the David Bradley tractors. Part number on the hitch is 917251781. Both turnbuckles still turn but obviously could use a little oil. And a little sanding and paint wouldn't hurt either. Original David Bradley Tractor Engine Vintage GoKart Briggs Minibike Hit Miss
This is a Very Nice Original David Bradley Walk Behind Tractor Briggs Engine that came off a model 917.57560 tractor. I had a David Bradley tiller that had a bad engine so I took this model 60 engine which was the same but this has a governor and switched the parts from the tiller engine over to this motor. I used the tiller a couple times and it ran great! Tiller tines got caught up in a cable and tiller trans broke. Put this back on a tiller or model 60 or use it as a mini-bike go-kart or whatever! I had to weld the screw on back of motor as seen in picture to hold gas tank up this engine didn't have that screw like the old tiller engine. If you removed tank cut screw off and grind smooth weld doesn't affect engine in any way. I am including the id tag with engine as seen in picture. I will also include 2 rivets if you want to install ... moreon a tractor. This ran great last years in my tiller. I put a little gas in spark plug fired right up! Shouldn't take much to get going. Oil will be drained from engine if shipped. I will insure motor for whatever it sells for through post office. Engine will be put in a cardboard box lined in wood with peanuts and plastic wrap. For your consideration. I am selling my David Bradley pedal tractor. This is custom made, one of a kind. The chassis is made from all aluminum. It is a fixi so you can pedal foward and reverse. Rear alxe is from a trike bicycle and has a built in differential. The rear wheels are 20" bicycle wheels with custome machined aluminum hubs. Everything rides on berrings, axles, wheels, pedal axle, kinkpins and steering gear box. The rear suspension is a true 4 link set up. The front alxe is a swing arm style solid axle. The front wheels are rear wheels from a rare aluminum childs bicycle that converted from bicycle to tricycle and back. The hood is from a David Bradley walk behind tractor made in the 50's. It has a farm tractor seat, and a chain steering wheel with shifter knob speed ball that is connected to a worm gear box for a nice ... moreresponsive steering. The entire tractor rides on Harley Davidson air bags supplied by two air tanks via copper lines, one tank for the front and one tank for the back with schrader valves and pressure guages under the hood(there are no switches or compressor, it does no go up and down, bags are for comfortable ride only) This item is rusty, this item has patina, this item has dents, dings, scratches, sharp edges and is not meant for everyone. I believe it was rated at 7.5 HP and is a gear drive. It is a heavy saw made for heavy work. The saw runs, pull starter works and is complete. It has not been used for many years. The saw comes with the manual. Because of its age I would recommend a tune-up and a good chain sharpening. Because the saw is used I will not accept any returns.
