It is a fun book to look through, many pieces of machinery David Bradley, probably the"John Deere" of 1950's Sears. There are some corners bent and a few small page tears, but over all a nice looking book. What a great barn find.Up for grabs is a vintage Sears Roebuck David Bradley Model 500-306115 Briggs& Stratton engine.Very hard to find with gas tank.Turning it by hand feels like good compression.The only thing I see missing is the pull rope but keep in mind there could be other parts.Has the glass bowl on the carb.Gas tank has decals but have wear.There are some dents on tank but inside looks good.Looks like it was drained of gas before storing.Does have oil in it which will be drained before shipment.It does have some minor rust and is greasy.Who knows clean it up and it may run.I know these were on many things.Not sure exactly what year or what it came off.Will be packed well.Will be insured with delivery confirmation.Email any questions sold as-is

Model 917.57561"Super Power" Manufactured from 1951 to 1953 Hooded tractor with red chassis and green wheels(Super Power" decal on hood) Continental 127.101@ 2.3 hp(AU7B) early. Or 127.300(AU8) 2.25 hp(later upgraded to 2.5 hp) late One piece frame Ball lock clutch The 57561 was the same tractor as the 57560. With a different engine. The 127.101 engine was used on a few of the very early versions of the 57561. Models with this early engine also retained the 4" round decal on the gas tank. However, most 57561's had the 127.300 AU8 engine. The gas tank decal was discontinued with the 127.300 engine. The AU8 tractors also came with a new throttle control, which was of heavier stamped steel construction. This control lever was used on all Continental powered tractors hereafter. RARE VINTAGE BRIGGS & STRATTON ENGINE MODEL U - SEARS DAVID BRADLEY MODEL 500
Up for auction is a rare vintage Briggs& Stratton Engine Model U. Made for Sears with a Sear's data plate stating it is a model 500-204058, with a faded David Bradley decal. The data plate has a serial#10145. The engine is barn fresh and appears to be complete with the exception of the muffler and is free and has compression. The gas tank shows one shallow minor dent and is dry and reasonably clean inside. I have done nothing to clean or enhance this engine and is being offered IN AS IS, AS FOUND ORIGINAL CONDITION, as stated above, with no returns. The Buyer of this engine needs to change and fill the oil before starting. Although dirty, this engine does appear to be a fine example and in overall very nice condition.

This rig shows normal wear and tear for its age and use The tractor has been well taken care of. Runs great, never abused in any way, and has not see hard use or very heavy work. The tires are original and are in good condition considering their age. There are some light signs of dry rot[normal] but they do hold air well-right tire has a slow leak-believe it to be the valve in the air stem. Here is a nice easy rolling David Bradley ride-on dump trailer for your DB walk behind tractor! I bought this years ago and had painted it gold.bronze to match my DB 575 tractor that I just sold-trailer was painted gray ay the time. Original wheels were bad so I replaced them with a new axle and good. Wide tires to properly handle loads with out sinking into the ground. The trailer bed shows some rust and has a small rust hole through it but is very sound and can be repaired if need be. The wheels and tires on this are in terrific shape and cost 65.00 a piece at the time-probably much more now! What we have here is a vintage 6 page foldout manual. 9 1/4" x 12" by Sears Roebuck and Co. for the David Bradley Horse and Tractor Drawn Disc Harrows. The notation on page 1 lower left says"12-33" which I think is the publication date. The paper is yellowed but flexible. There are no marks or writings or water damage. Page 1 begins the setup instructions, page 2 shows a complete illustrated parts diagram, pages 3 and 4 is the complete parts list with prices, page 5 and 6 continue the setup and operating instructions. A wonderful find and sure to be a worthwhile addition for the vintage implement collector.

I have a David Bradley Model# 9175751 Series 226 with a Sickle Blade attachment. Engine serial# 983781 model# 5000306197 turns over easy but not getting spark. I cleaned out gas tank. Fresh fuel but no spark? This unit appears to have reverse system to prevent from rolling backwards going up hills. It was last run approx. 10 years ago by my wife's father when he was alive. It was bought new by my wife's grandparents and has all ways been in her family. All parts appear to be on unit and tires seem to be fair for its age and they hold air. It has been greased and levers work freely I just cant start it and I don't know about these old motors. 1939 Sears Handiman RT Tractor by David Bradley
I have up for auction this very rare and unique 1939 Sears Handiman RT(Riding Tractor) I have owned this tractor for several years and taken it to a few shows. I had plans to do a complete restoration on it but have since moved on to other interests. It does have the correct and original Briggs and Stratton engine that does run, however I have not had it out and running for close to a year now so it may need some fresh gas and maybe even the carb cleaned. It does not smoke or knock, I drove it around the last show I had it at and it did great. One gear in the transmission is out, it is suppose to have 2 forward gears and 1 reverse, only 1 forward gear and the reverse work, I believe that it is the low gear that is out. I am by no means an expert on these but from what I have heard their are not to many of these left as they were only made ... morea couple of years. Someone has added an electric starter on to it but I have never used it. Thankfully when they added it they did NOT cut anything up or modify the tractor that I know of, if you dont know its there you cant really even see it. Montgomery Wards flare box farm wagon on David Bradley gear
This is a Montgomery Wards flare box mounted on a David Bradley(Sears) running gear with a hydraulic dump hoist. The pictures show general condition. There is a dent in the front from a picker elevator hitting it, common with these type wagons. The wagon is ready to use, needs nothing. Good used tires and new tubes recently installed and wheel bearings were serviced at that time and steering was tightened up. You can tow this wagon home, trails nicely. The hoist works perfectly, the rear chute works as it should. We covered the floor with treated plywood. Perfect for hauling firewood,or use with your antique combine or corn picker. Listing covers an original 1894 DAVID BRADLEY COMPANY POCKET ANNUAL Contains illustrations of their farm equipment. Including plows, Measures right at 3-1/2"W X 6-1/4"T. With 64 pages. Pages on right side of book have lines for making notes(none inserted. Left side is full of advertisements. Texts, charts, hints. Etc. Its not possible to list everything the booklet contains, but I did post lots of photos to give a sampling of the type pages you will find. One of the nice things about the booklet is it contains good descriptions. Including purpose and assets. Of the products advertised. It has plenty of plows, but MORE than plows. Item is in nice condition for this age paper booklet which has been handled and used. I like to detail condition of paper items I list. So posted lots of photos to help with your assessment. You also will ... morewant to know the interior pages are all present- they are untorn, unmarked. And mostly unstained. I see a small ink type stain on outside edge of the pages and some age type discoloration, making pages a golden color. Main thing you will notice is the stiff covers have small tears along the edges. And at some point they became unattached. Previous owner brought them back together with tape on spine. And placed the original bound pages inside. Original binding was a stapled binding. pages still have this stapled binding. But the staple holes of the stiff covers just became wider. Causing them to separate. The covers and the pages are sturdy and not brittle, so easy to handle.

1960 David Bradley Craftsman 36" Riding Mower Antique runs drives electric start
1960? Sounds like the right general year but I don't know and don't have the original engine anymore to check the date sorry. Craftsman 36 rear engine riding mower. Factory rear duals. probably a very rare accessory.like the last ones left. Heck this may be the last one left anyway. The year before was a David Bradley. Same mower in Gold paint with Orange wheels. When I sandblasted the rear wheels& dual spacers. The paint under two of them was orange as were the adapter spacers. The crazy thing is that Sears parts direct still has the parts diagrams, but strangely everything is out of stock. Probably not much demand. Too bad as it needs blades. It will start& run but it does need some finishing mechanically as the throttle lever and cable doesn't move smoothly. The inside left rear tire is the wrong size. The rest on the ... moreback are 5.30-6" Carlisle sawtooths and are good) The fronts are some teeny 4" tires off some seed spreader I had. all the wheels are original, all the tires were newish a couple years ago. They all will bleed down after a few months. Cheap tubes I guess, they were all new. This particular one didn't have electric start originally but it had a spot for a battery box. And a place in the floor for the starter switch/button. I just put in a battery and a starter button in the hole like the option must have been. This engine has the alternator if you want to finish wiring a charging system, but like the Deere 55 I had and the Hahn Eclipse 200 I used to have, some of them came without charging systems and you just trickle charged it after using it. The battery will start it all month without recharging it, it runs off its magneto once it is running. I'd leave it as it is unless you plan on using it regularly. The deck isn't rusted through and is solid. The blade mandrels both turn. The two idler pulleys are rusted stuck. I was going to do a good restoration on this one of a kind rider to cruise the tractor show fairgrounds, but I'll never have the time. It

David Bradley Trailer, Circa 1940- 1950's Era, Nice!
A very nice example of the iconic David Bradley trailers of the 1940's and 50's. 1/4 ton. 6' box, about 44" wide. 15" original DB wheels, good tires. Original screw type 1 7/8" ball hitch and parking leg. Wooden slat sides and tailgate(unattached) with original hardware, some wood slats could use some work. Rectangular axle. Model number 231-417. Serial number 15271. Hauls very well. Very little rust, has been repainted over the original green. Spare included. This little trailer was well cared for and is a very nice example of these historic trailers. With a little TLC it can be a mint example. Also very useable just the way it is. See it in Lexington.
